Our platform includes cut and sew facilities in NC, Haiti and China with local fabric formation – which allows us to be reactive to the peaks and valleys of our industry.
Our large scale capacity allows us to be reactive to changing demand enabling us to ramp up (and down) production as necessary. The mattress industry is known for its peaks and valleys, and we have structured our platform with this in mind.
Being fully owned by Culp, Inc., we have the advantage of producing the product from fabric concept to finished product. This cuts costs, improves lead times, and makes the supply chain easier to manage for our customers.
In August of 2017, CHF announced expansion of its CLASS Cut and Sew Platform in Haiti. CIH- Class International Holdings, is located in Haiti-based Codevi, an industrial park that has moved from a vision to the largest employer in the country’s Northern region. CLASS now has production facilities in the USA, China and Haiti.
At CLASS, we have the capacity to maintain quality assurance from concept to finished product. Our fabrics designed in-house must pass quality tests before arriving at our facilities. We also have standardized manufacturing, IT and QMS processes across all platforms.
At CLASS we pride ourselves on being leaders and innovators in the bedding industry, both in design and manufacturing. Our flexible and scalable manufacturing platform utilizes mirrored manufacturing with identical state-of-the-art capabilities across plants, including four international mirrored cut-and-sew facilities, three international mirrored weaving facilities and four international mirrored knitting facilities. This allows us to execute rapid response on orders and product development contributing to our world class customer service and distribution.
